- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
- Manage the company's budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee all finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Review and improve financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and other key financial documents.
- Administer payroll for approximately 10 staff, handling straightforward wage calculations.
- Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, and PAYG obligations.
- CA/CPA qaulified
- Proven experience in a similar finance role, ideally within an SME construction environment.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of finance functions.
- A minimum of 7 years experience combined with people management
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in CHEOPS
