Well established SME-construction business is recruiting for a Finance Manager.This is a hands-on, office-based role suited to a self-starter who thrives working autonomously and enjoys being across all aspects of finance operations.As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end financial reporting and play a key role in shaping the financial health and strategy of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and ownership in their role.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
Manage the company's budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Prepare and analyse financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
Oversee all finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
Review and improve financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and other key financial documents.
Administer payroll for approximately 10 staff, handling straightforward wage calculations.
Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, and PAYG obligations.

About You:

CA/CPA qaulified
Proven experience in a similar finance role, ideally within an SME construction environment.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of finance functions.
A minimum of 7 years experience combined with people management
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in CHEOPS
