- Oversee daily operations of the Animal Management Facility, providing key administrative and operational support to the Ranger team.
- Ensure high standards of animal care, manage facility records and registers, reconcile payments and maintain consumable supplies.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including veterinary providers and animal re-homing organisations to support facility operations.
- Utilise Council systems to meet legislative and organisational requirements for document management and financial reporting.
- Handle emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism, understanding the nature of the facility’s operations, including potential exposure to euthanasia practices.

- A qualified professional with a Certificate III in Animal Care Services (or equivalent) and proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service, particularly in sensitive or complex situations.
- Someone with a strong track record in accurate recordkeeping and ensuring compliance with statutory and reporting requirements.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences, provide clear guidance, and support team members effectively.
- A tech-savvy individual with extensive experience using various software systems, including EFTPOS, and the capability to train or support others in their use.
- A knowledgeable animal care specialist with hands-on experience in animal husbandry, disease prevention, and facility operations, including the ability to perform basic health checks and mentor others.
