About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead the on-site poultry processing operation. You'll oversee production targets, compliance, and plant reliability while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities

Lead, train, and motivate a skilled processing team
Manage daily operations to meet yield, quality, and safety targets
Ensure compliance with WHS, animal welfare, and HACCP systems
Drive process improvements and team development

About you
We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, practical environment with experience in poultry, meat, or food processing.You will also bring:

Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and compliance systems.
A proven track record in continuous improvement and change management.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to team development.
Bonus points if you have butchery skills or a forklift licence.

Most importantly, you'll share the business's values around animal welfare, sustainability, and quality food production.What's on Offer
