Clearance: Must be able to get Baseline ClearanceLocation: MelbourneRole Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our agile delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at translating business needs into technical solutions, and is passionate about driving process improvements through collaborative design.Key Responsibilities:
  • Agile Collaboration: Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support iterative delivery of business solutions.
  • Requirement Gathering & Translation: Engage with stakeholders to elicit business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and business users to ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals.
  • User Story Development: Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and aligned with business value.
  • Design Documentation: Create and maintain design documents including process flows, data mappings, and integration specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and update business processes to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
  • Review & Sign-Off: Facilitate design reviews and secure stakeholder approval on documentation and proposed changes.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams
  • Proficiency in writing user stories and managing backlogs
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
  • Skilled in creating and reviewing design documentation and process maps
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skill

Experience supporting the development and maintenance of cyber security policies, operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.25%4. Ability to support project activities, including planning, reporting, and facilitation of cyber security exercises or workshops.25%Desirable criteria1. 1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications.
