If you want to help shape the future of Frankston, now is the time to join our team!About the positionCouncil's Youth Services are looking for a Senior Youth Worker to strengthen young people's social connections and help them engage in a wide range of community, cultural, and learning opportunities.The main responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing direct service delivery and the development of a range of programs in the local area in line with the priorities of the Youth Action Plan 2022-2026.
  • Working closely with the community and alongside the Youth Services team to ascertain program needs, make recommendations, and develop ways to address the needs of young people and their families in the local area.
  • Meeting agreed priorities and performance standards and adhering to schedules and deadlines.
This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week.About you
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people individually and in groups, including engaging with large groups.
  • A proven ability to develop and deliver impactful, youth-based programs that effectively address the diverse needs of young people.
  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Youth Work or a related discipline.

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated at $82,567 per annum, plus superannuation.
