Our focus is on getting data and technology to work for patients, consumers and the healthcare professionals who look after themAbout the RoleAs an APS Level 6 Program Officer in the My Health Record Expansion & Use section you will provide a pivotal operational role supporting the planning, delivery, monitoring and reporting of projects and programs. Your operational capabilities will be crucial to ensuring that projects/programs remain organised, on track and aligned with the Agency's objectives.Key Duties
  • Lead financial reporting, procurement, and contract management for the MHR Expansion and Use section, including forecasting, accruals, SAP processes, and vendor liaison.
  • Help coordinate and prepare status reports and key documentation, ensuring updates to Program and Project Management systems and incorporating feedback from assurance reviews.
  • Develop and manage high-quality project documentation to support briefings, presentations, and deliverables tracking.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning in collaboration with Senior Project Managers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project planning and decision-making.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of the Agency's project management frameworks and reporting requirements to support effective program and project delivery.
  • Engage with the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) and the Branch's Capability and Assurance teams to ensure compliance with frameworks and participate in system reviews and testing.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, Partnerships, the EPMO, and the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
  • Provide daily operational support to senior leadership, including meeting coordination, documentation management, invoice processing, and ad hoc team assistance.
  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management records and engagement logs and coordinate HR-related requests such as position variations and remote work submissions.
Essential requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
