Proudly owned by Australian FarmersMcLean Packing Staff Pty Ltd is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in the Darling Downs, specialising in livestock and food production. The business is involved with a broad range of other agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a skilled individual to fill this role in a full-time capacity, based in Pittsworth, QLD.At McLean Farms our core values guide everything we do:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on MOBA egg grading machines and related equipment
Perform tasks such as calibration and adjustments to ensure machines run efficiently
Identify and implement improvements to optimise equipment performance and reduce downtime
Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs to minimise disruptions
Support safety inspections and help identify and reduce machinery risks
Keep accurate maintenance records, including parts used and work completed
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement as needed
Train operators and staff on machine use, maintenance, and safety procedures
Work closely with the maintenance and production teams on repairs and improvement projects
Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor egg grading systems
Liaise with equipment suppliers to integrate automated systems smoothly.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
Proven experience with PLC programming and complex machinery maintenance
Skilled in developing preventative maintenance plans
Strong communicator, with the ability to write reports and liaise with various teams
Excellent planning and time management skills
Confident using a range of computer programs
Experience with MOBA machinery
