DESCRIPTIONAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record leading a team to create sourcing plans, manage supplier performance, and working with a b
road range of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop new concepts and operating models to deliver impactful changes in sourcing, delivering best in class business models
- Manage individual contributor job performance.
- Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
- Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
- End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
- Work with a range of stakeholders including supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and to support on-time material availability.
- Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and minimize risks for AWS and its customers.
- Manage material inventories for AWS data centers
- Evaluate and monitor performance of suppliers
- Lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination.
- Serve as an escalation point for teams to remediate supplier/material risks.About the team

- 3+ years managing teams ranging from 3-10+ direct reports.
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 25% including both domestic and international travel.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Data center and/or cabling infrastructure experience
- Supply Chain Experience
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills as well as a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
