Lake with water sports, not far from snow, on the cusp of wine regions with bustling hospitality optionsSavings on gym memberships (Fitness Passport) and other Thales Employee discountsWho are we?As part of Thales Australia, Australian Munitions is the largest domestic manufacturer of explosive ordnance to the Australian Defence Force, with a successful track record delivering ammunition, propellants, explosives and related services including acid production and industrial waste treatment to Defence and commercial markets.Role Responsibilities IncludeConduct fault finding, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities on equipmentRepair, overhaul, and test equipment, as well as perform installationsInterpret drawings and sketches, and work according to a predetermined maintenance scheduleComplete risk assessments and identify underperforming plant equipment for further analysisProvide technical advice to contractors and communicate regularly with the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance ManagerAbout youTrade qualifications as a Fitter and Machinist or equivalentWell-developed fault finding, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skillsExperience with pneumatics and hydraulicsDemonstrated machining skillsGood to KnowYou’ll get an email acknowledgement after you’ve applied.
