Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking to expand your skills, whilst working on interesting projects? This role is a highly sought after role at one of the larger chemical manufacturing plants located in Mulwala. Mulwala is located on the stunning Murray River, offering a lifestyle of water sports, fishing, local food and wine to discover.The Role
As a fitter & turner, this role will have you:

Perform fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement practices including equipment repair, testing, installation.
Conduct maintenance schedules
Conduct maintenance & improvement in both hazardous and non-hazardous areas
Identify underperforming plants for analysis
Review technical drawings, utilise predictive maintenance/condition monitoring techniques

Special RequirementsYou will be required to pass a National Police Check valid from 30 days and be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance.

Shift work as required (including weekends, rotating roster across DS, AS and NS).
Drivers License
Occasional weekend and RDO maintenance
Eligible for International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITARS) clearance

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE and Qualifications

Trade qualifications as Fitter and Machinist or equivalent
Fault finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
Demonstrated machining skills

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE and Licenses

Tool making
Dogging Qualification
High Risk Work Licenses including Elevated Work Platform and forklift
Completion of Installation and Maintenance Techniques
