The plant employs approximately 2,000 team members with a processing capacity of 3,400 head of cattle per day.About the RoleJBS Dinmore is currently recruiting a strong people centric Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join the Maintenance team in a permanent full-time capacity. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this senior leadership position is best suited to someone who is familiar with the relevant safety standards and regulations and is able to provide technical expertise and support to team members.Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and coordinating employees during their shift
Ensuring a satisfactory performance of individuals
Delegating and following up on both planned and unplanned work
Maintaining good communication with other departments, supervisors and management teams
Ensuring the preparation of equipment, spares and other resources for planned maintenance work
Monitoring, following up and addressing issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
Continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
Understanding and implementing quality control techniques
Being actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair

About You

Trade qualifications and post-trade experience
Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
Experience with maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skills
Thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
Sound computer skills
Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety standards
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
Must hold a valid Electrical license
