Expect all this and more when you join Linfox.What does the job look like?Linfox Intermodal are seeking a Night Shift allocator who will play a crucial role in our team based in Willawong QLD. This motivated individual will be ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner and in line with Linfox safety and compliance guidelines. With your exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries. We currently have a night shift opportunity available working Monday to Friday from 9pm to 6am with any overtime as required. Key areas:
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and compliance
  • Maintaining regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them
  • Monitoring service schedules for fleet & completing accurate handovers for AM shift team each day
  • Completing Yard checks and meeting Safety KPI's
Are you the one?
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers and customers
  • Experience in similar positions working within the Logistics/Transport/Road industry highly regarded
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area will be highly regarded, however not essential
  • Highly organized with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment
  • Highly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quickly
