This is an excellent opportunity if you have a strong senior engineering background and structured leadership style.The candidate must be an Australian citizen and be eligible for a security clearance.About the role:Provide leadership and management of the Project Engineering teamEnsure that the engineering department achieves the technical outcomes required on approved engineering projectsEstablish, manage and maintain systems to support the planning of and resource allocation to, approved technical projectsFor all approved engineering projects, ensure Project Engineers are allocated, plans developed and agreed, and progress is monitored and remediated where necessaryPresent and participate in engineering project internal and external status reviewsManage certain critical and complex engineering projects as requiredKey Responsibilities:Project, task and resource planning focusTeam leadership and directionRisk assessment and mitigationAbility to work in a matrix organisation and negotiate defined supportAbout You:10 years or more experience practicing in a Senior Engineering position.Knowledge and understanding of the Product Life CycleExperience and track record in management of engineers in multi-disciplinary teams.Experience of the Australian Defence technical regulation frameworks and standardsProven experience in the project/program execution within the ASDEFCON framework.Bachelor of Engineering Degree within an Engineering Discipline.Currently hold or ability to obtain a Chartered Professional Engineering Status.Post Graduate qualifications in Systems Engineering is desirable.Ready to Apply?"Join EOS and help shape the future of defence technology.
