- Manage the integration of multiple project components, ensuring coordinated efforts across all teams, Identify interdependencies and resolve potential conflicts between planning, procurement, engineering, and construction
- Track progress against baseline schedules using tools like Primavera P6, support preparation of Stage Gate reviews and approvals for freight-related milestones
- Assess the impact of design changes, scope variations, and external factors on the freight package schedule
- Coordinate with design, construction, and systems teams to ensure freight works integrate with passenger rail upgrades, new platforms, and signalling systems.
- Manage interfaces with external stakeholders such as ARTC, freight operators, and utility providers for track realignment and freight corridor access.
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for Freight Package 2, ensuring alignment with the overall program timeline
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a planning or scheduling role within major infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, critical path analysis, and earned value management.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and methodologies.
- Skilled in identifying schedule risks, slippages, and bottlenecks, and escalating them for timely resolution.
