Job Description:The CompanyRobert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant who, working alongside the Financial Controller, will assist in the delivery of the financial reporting for our NFP client. Based in Melbourne's CBD, this six-month temporary role could lead to additional opportunities.The organisation is highly respected throughout Victoria, with an established and high-performing leadership team.The RoleWorking alongside a professional and experienced finance team this role will involve:

Assisting with the timely and accurate production of the organisation's month-end financial reports
Revenue accounting
Cashflow forecasting including the maintenance of funding schedules
Complex general ledger reconciliations
Grant and fund management
Management of acquittals
Month-end journals
Assisting with treasury duties
Assisting the Financial Controller with the EOY audit queries

This position is moving quickly and is perfect for anyone whose values are aligned to the for-purpose sector and who can take ownership of the above duties.Your ProfileTo be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role with the following attributes being highly advantageous:

CA/CPA qualified
Ability to generate meaningful and readily understood reports for senior management
Strong systems skills including an intermediate to advanced level of MS Excel
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standards
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external parties
