- Support the successful delivery of annual AOP programs by influencing, governing, monitoring, and tracking the progress and schedules of the Networks portfolio.
- Ensure robust delivery execution across the assigned Networks Division portfolio, acting as a trusted business partner and providing reliable portfolio delivery advice.
- Provide effective planning, monitoring, and oversight of strategic, technically complex programs and projects within the assigned Networks Division portfolio.
- Work closely with the Networks SLT, program and project managers, and engage with Optus senior management to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Lead and optimise the implementation of the Networks Portfolio Management in the assigned Networks Division.
- Develop and implement the stakeholder engagement strategy for the assigned Networks Division leadership team.
- Ensure effective planning, monitoring, and delivery of the portfolio of programs, projects, and agile delivery initiatives to deliver agreed project KPIs (time, budget, scope, and quality).
- Act as the endorser for key information sharing artefacts for the assigned Networks Division.
- Provide key inputs to assemble and baseline the assigned Networks Division AOP capex plan annually.
- Ensure that the assigned Networks Division delivery is aligned with the maximisation of benefits and initiate benefit reviews in response to all delivery initiative changes or delays.
- Lead and promote collaboration of high-performing and engaged program teams to deliver initiative outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering, or other aligned field.
- Extensive experience leading a portfolio of programs, ideally within the IT/Telecommunications sector.
- Years as a Program Manager and/or Project Manager delivering large programs and projects.
- Demonstrated success in directly managing large, complex programs.
- Proven track record in successfully leading a delivery team in a matrix reporting environment.
- Ability to operate effectively in a variety of different environments and respond appropriately to unexpected circumstances.
- Demonstrated ability to forge collaborative relationships both within and outside the team and influence desired outcomes.
- Commercial and business awareness with a focus on delivering to the internal or external customer.
- Capable of independently assessing a wide variety of tasks and being proactive in identifying and undertaking activities that benefit the business.
- Ability to manage compliance and conformance with regulatory, legislative, and contractual obligations.
- 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!
