Oversee the full spectrum of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor a team within the accounting and finance department.
Analyse financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise financial processes and controls.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports for senior management.
Manage cash flow and ensure the organisation's financial stability.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

The Successful ApplicantA successful Finance Analyst should have:

Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
Analyse financial performance and variances against budgets and historical data.
Prepare management reports and dashboards with key financial metrics.
Monitor sales, gross margins, and profitability across regions, channels, and categories.
Assess financial impact of promotions, discounts, and pricing strategies.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive commercial improvements.
Analyse operational expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Monitor inventory levels, turnover, and shrinkage to meet financial targets.
Collaborate with supply chain and merchandising teams to manage working capital.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decisions.
Contribute to business cases, ROI analysis, and project evaluations.
Build and maintain financial models and reports using Excel, SAP, Power BI, or Tableau.
