SMAART Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Venue/Cafe Manager for one of Richmond's best brunch spots.Cherished by locals for its outstanding speciality coffee, delicious seasonal menus, and its warm, community-focused atmosphere. They truly pride themselves on consistent quality, exceptional service, and cultivating a welcoming space for every customer.As Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring an exceptional customer experience, leading a high-performing team, and overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the cafe.This is a hands-on leadership position, perfectly suited for someone who thrives on being actively involved on the floor, mentoring staff, and setting a high standard for service. You'll lead both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, guiding them to achieve excellence daily.We're looking for someone who brings:

5+ years of experience in a managerial capacity within a large cafe, restaurant, or similar hospitality venue.
Strong barista skills and in-depth knowledge of speciality coffee.
A natural leader with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated experience with ordering systems, efficient staff rostering, and basic financial management.
The flexibility to work weekends and the ability to lead effectively from the front.

$90,000 - $100,000 + Super + Bonus/Incentive
Monday - Friday, 5AM - 3PM
