The position plays a critical role in delivering volume growth, securing new customer opportunities, and supporting the strategic activation of key accounts to ensure alignment with broader commercial objectives.For you:

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilites
  • Work alongside the BDR within the state to plan out New Business scopes to ensure success against the state new business target each year. This entails the use of Salesforce and other whitespace lists provided.
  • Quickly build strong relationships with outlet managers to influence ranging of our brands vs others to drive overall share and category growth.
  • Work with internal (i.e. TMs, FSMs, Telesales) and external (Distributors, Asahi) to identify new business opportunities and scope them out with view to convert as new stockist while aligning on a sustainable GTM solution.
  • Appropriate use and maintenance of all tools of trade such as vehicle, phone, iPad and POS. Use AI to work efficiently.
  • Spend a minimum of 2 days per week on key activations across defined channels (i.e. Education, Swimming Pools, Cinemas, etc) where TMs do not visit to ensure outlets are setup for success. This will include broader customer such as Subway, bunnings are also captured during each year which will be set through AFH and SSMs.
  • Spend minimum 3 days per week scoping and converting New Business opportunities.
  • Reengage with lost outlets each QTR to ensure we minimise outlets that have ceased buying our branded snacks.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner and following up agreements with customers to make the deal happen.
QualificationsAbout you
  • Understand different personality types and how to influence in different ways using Insights Discovery principles
  • Able to build rapport quickly with new people
  • Able to question effectively to listen and understand key customer needs and tailor the sell to those needs.
  • Sell with category facts and insight
  • Able to have a natural selling conversation with the customer that results in them taking action and follow up actions in a timely manner.
  • Able to plan for and anticipate customer objections and resolve using negotiation techniques in the sales presentation.
  • Able to use retail maths within a selling situation or conversation with retailer
  • Understand GTM methods and different delivery methods such as distributors, Foodservice, cash and carry.
