Contract Dates: 18 August – 31 October 2025
Location: 21–25 Nile Street, Port AdelaideHudson is working closely with a South Australian Government agency to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer (ASO2) to join their Financial Services division. This full-time temporary role sits within the Document Capture Team and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy, high-performing accounts function.About the Role As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will report to the Operational Team Leader, Document Capture, and play a key role in the efficient handling and processing of invoice data and mail. The team manages the intake and classification of invoices from various sources, preparing them for further processing.Key Responsibilities
  • Process and review incoming invoices using a data extraction system.
  • Manage the daily intake and sorting of incoming mail.
  • Prepare outgoing mail for dispatch.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily processing targets.
  • Identify and resolve issues in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • A current National Police Clearance (mandatory).
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills (minimum 40wpm).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change.
Previous experience in accounts payable, document handling or invoice processing will be highly regarded, though not essential for candidates with strong administrative skills and a desire to learn.Contract Details
