The organisation leads national efforts to promote respectful online behaviour, raise awareness of digital safety issues, and support regulatory and policy initiatives that protect the community.About the RoleThis role sits within the Gender and Tech Section, which focuses on addressing online safety issues that disproportionately affect women and girls. As the Senior Marketing & Communications Advisor, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated campaigns that support behavioural change, raise awareness, and promote safer digital practices.You will coordinate and deliver awareness-raising campaigns for key events and forums, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with content creation, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic, multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns.
- Coordinate and deliver awareness-raising initiatives for events, forums, and public engagement activities.
- Create engaging content for digital platforms, publications, and stakeholder communications.
- Support brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver targeted communications.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to inform future strategies.
- Contribute to the development of communication plans that support organisational initiatives.
- At least five years’ experience in marketing and communications.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic, multi-channel campaigns and awareness-raising initiatives.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills across digital and traditional platforms.
- Experience in brand management and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with tools like Meltwater, Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor, or similar.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility for Baseline Security Clearance.
