Parkes Health ServiceAbout the roleLachlan Health service Occupational Therapy department provides generalist Occupational Therapy services to the communities of Parkes and Forbes NSW. The successful applicant will be working at Parkes Campus site.Days and hours are flexible to suit individual circumstancesThe Occupational Therapy department provides services to the inpatient units, as well as community adult and paediatric caseloads. There is opportunity to develop skills in other areas if desired.This role is primarily working in the community particularly with paediatric clients (0-18) The role includes completing developmental screenings and assessments and providing advice and recommendations to maximize the developmental progress and independence of children in Parkes and Forbes.Parkes hospital was newly built in 2015 making it a modern contemporary facility.The Occupational Therapy team is supported by a clinical department OT senior, and you will be working within in a friendly small team environment and a larger friendly community health environment.To find out more about the role click to view theA career with Western NSW means you can challenge yourself, make an impact and shape the future of rural health.
