Due to securing multiple high-profile projects, they are seeking a driven Project Engineer to join their growing and experienced team.About the Position.As a pivotal member of a dynamic project team, the Project Engineer will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects valued over $100M across Canberra, right from the design stage through to completion. You will work directly with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard with a strong focus on WHS legislation.Duties.
  • Manage and track project costs, including budgeting, forecast and cost control measures
  • Assist in the preparation and review of projects contracts, change orders, and RFIs
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure site team adheres to safety guidelines
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications and reports
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other projects stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project progression
  • Lead the coordination of design and construction documents to ensure seamless execution of the project
Skills & Experience.
  • Tertiary of Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable
  • Proven record of monitoring, managing, and complying with WHS and Quality Assurance processes and a Site/Project Engineer or similar
  • Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers
  • Proven understanding of construction process and projects management methodologies
  • High-rise residential experience is highly desirable
