Data Engineer

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across multiple sources and environments
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure in cloud and/or on-premise environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies
- Optimize data workflows and processing for performance and scalability
- Participate in the design and implementation of data governance and security best practices
- Proven experience in a Data Engineering or related role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Proficient in data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi)
- Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing tasks
- Must have hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Azure (including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, etc.)
- Microsoft Fabric
- Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Familiarity with cloud data services and security best practices
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Terraform)
- Experience working in government, defense, or regulated industries
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Baseline Security Clearance is a minimum requirement
