Data & AI EngineerWe are looking for a skilled Data & AI Engineer to provide technical expertise across Defence Data and AI projects. This role involves preparing and reviewing design documentation, supporting complex engineering activities, and delivering hands-on technical input to ensure successful project outcomes. You’ll also contribute to building team capability through knowledge transfer and training.Location: ACT preferred or VICKey Responsibilities:

Prepare Systems Engineering Descriptions (SED) and supporting design documentation
Review design materials produced by System Integrators and emerging AI projects
Provide hands-on technical support to enable delivery of Defence Data & AI projects
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training for team members

Key Selection Criteria:

Expert knowledge of data platforms (cloud and on-premises)
Strong experience developing AI/ML models with practical application
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
NV2 clearance highly desirable; NV1 with strong Defence experience acceptable
