Do you want to work in a supportive environment where every shift leaves you feeling valued and appreciated?Join our warm and welcoming team at Yallambee in beautiful Millmerran, an area steeped in history and make a genuine impact on the lives of our elderly residents!Key Responsibilities:Provide compassionate assistance with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing to support dignity and comfort.Serve meals and offer support during mealtimes, ensuring residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.Observe and monitor residents' health and behaviour, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff.Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and positioning to support residents’ independence and physical wellbeing.Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.About You:McLean Care is looking for certified, caring, and empathetic individuals who are passionate about supporting others and making a meaningful contribution to their community.Essential:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically fit and able to apply safe manual handling practices
  • Able to use smartphone/tablet & learn new systems for work purposes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • 2 Recent Managerial Referees
  • Police Clearance – we run one for you for free!
  • Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification or in process of obtaining
Beneficial:
  • Previous experience in a Residential Aged Care setting
  • Medication Administration Certified
