• Plan, lead and manage ILS human and physical resources;
• Develop logistic plans and procedures including their implementation and review;
• Conduct service design of WSO ITSM support functions and develop plans and procedures including their implementation and review;
• Conduct investigative work to determine ILS requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
• Assist in the development of the Support System aspects of Functional Performance Specifications for future acquisitions.
• Manage the conduct of Logistic Support Analysis in support of a major acquisition and subsequent continual improvement cycles;
• Manages and mitigates logistic risks;
• Provide oversight and guidance on logistic costs;
• Provide assistance in financial reconciliation of project funds;
• Set ILS and ITSM work that aligns with strategic and operational outcomes for Defence;
• Provide advice and guidance to the WSO Senior Leadership Team;
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders at the strategic and operational level;

• Develop and conduct ILS and ITSM continual improvement strategies and plans;
• Be responsible for and have oversight of ILS Team activities including the;

• Development of subordinate ILS processes, procedures, and ILSIs;
• Operation of WSO warehouse;
• o Conduct IT asset management;
• o Conduct physical disposal of decommissioned capabilities;
• o Conduct Codification and Cataloguing of new IOS;
• o Input Hardware technical data to LIMS;
• Review hardware identified for procurement and ensure they meet configuration baselines;
• Manage the movement and storage of hardware for prototype, development, build, install, and deploy activites.
