The DPM is accountable under broad directionto perform and achieve complex project management work within an integratedworkforce. They are accountable to ensure they have knowledge of and compliancewith legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defences missionand policy requirements.The DPM will work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy andaccountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work. They will exerciseboth initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in theapplication of practices and procedures. They will provide detailed projectmanagement technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex workand contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and policydevelopment.
