- Location: Narangba
- Oversee the end-to-end risk assessment process for remote and isolated work scenarios across a diverse workforce
- Design and implement tailored control measures that address the unique challenges of remote and isolated work
- Engage, consult, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including frontline team members, operational leaders, and external partners
- Provide expert advice and develop high-quality technical documentation, including risk assessments, procedures, communication protocols, and technology-based control strategies
- Contribute to the development and refinement of WHS systems, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to ensure all initiatives are strategically aligned with Council's broader WHS objectives and strategies.
- Familiarity with the operational, technological, and human factors associated with remote and isolated work across varied roles and geographic contexts
- Understanding of current and emerging technologies used to support remote work safety
- Knowledge of project planning, stakeholder engagement, and change management principles to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to interpret WHS data, incident trends, and feedback to evaluate control effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience leading WHS projects in complex, multi-site or field-based environments
- Proven ability to engage, consult, and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments and implementing tailored control measures that address operational, environmental, and psychosocial risks.
