Thiess is hiring CHPP Electrical Operator/Maintainers to keep our Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) at Lake Vermont Mine near Dysart running safely, smoothly, and efficiently.This is your chance to join a world-class team in a full-time, permanent role with excellent pay, top-notch facilities, and long-term career prospects.🔧 What You'll Be Doing:As a CHPP Electrical Operator/Maintainer, you'll be hands-on with the electrical systems that drive our plant, while also playing a key role in operations. Your day-to-day includes:

Operating and maintaining all areas of the CHPP
Responding to electrical breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance
Ensuring electrical systems meet safety and efficiency standards
Conducting inspections and contributing to continuous improvement
Working in challenging environments (heights, confined spaces) safely and effectively

🎓 What You'll Bring:

✅ Current QLD Electrical Licence
✅ Low Voltage Rescue certification
✅ Standard 11 (mandatory)
✅ Experience in CHPP or similar fixed plant operations
✅ A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability
