About Our ClientThis organisation is an internationally owned subsidiary and would be considered to be a medium-sized entity in Australia. Our clients works with a wide variety of specialised customers including in telecoms, energy, transport, logistics, and infrastructure. This newly created role will be required to be in the office 5-days per week with flexibility and free parking provided.Job Description
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimisation of SAP systems.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
The Successful ApplicantA successful Financial Controller will be able to demonstrate:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience working with SAP systems.
  • Proven expertise in financial management within a blue collar environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all level
