Whether it be one off-hires, bulk recruitment, onsite workforce management or large vendor management models.Job description:Reporting to the ferrous supervisor, you will conduct general laboring tasks, safely operate mobile machinery in order to sort, grade, purchase and process metals for export.This is a diverse and rewarding role for someone who takes pride in above the line thinking/ owning their responsibilities, stepping up, and working safely with purpose.Your responsibilities will include:

Operating forklifts, excavators & other machinery (as required)
Belt picking identifying and sorting materials (as required)
Traffic control within the yard (as required)
Container loading for transport and export
General yard duties and housekeeping
Ensure customers receive a high level of service
Grading and sorting materials
Assisting downstream shredding operations
Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures
Assist with bulk exports loading - including weekend work from time to time.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

Forklift (LF) license
Excavator Ticket with experience (swinging grapple attachment exp highly desired)
Front end loader with experience
Ability to work independently
A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills
Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
A strong work ethic and a safety-first approach
Someone who leads with accountability and initiative
Flexibility to jump into a range of tasks each day
Experience in a metal recycling or heavy industrial environment (preferred)
