
Robotics Technician

- Assemble, calibrate, and test robotic subsystems including actuators, joints, and sensor arrays.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.
- Support engineers in validating new hardware and software integrations.
- Maintain robots used for development, demos, and customer deployments, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Document processes, test results, and maintenance logs to feed into continuous improvement.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to solve integration challenges on the ground.
- Diploma, trade qualification, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldor equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a robotics, mechatronics, or hardware workshop environment.
- Strong practical skills in assembly, wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Comfortable using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- A structured, methodical approach to testing and problem-solving.
- Experience with robotic actuators (e.g., Dynamixel, brushless motors) and sensor calibration.
- Familiarity with Linux and ROS environments.
- Exposure to rapid prototyping tools such as 3D printing and CNC machining.
- Hands-on experience supporting robots in customer or field environments.
