Reporting to the Groupwork Coordinator, as the Community and Family Services Group Worker you will:
- Facilitate group programs that build resilience, social skills and wellbeing
- Deliver parenting programs and information sessions to support families
- Work in partnership with schools, community organisations and service providers
- Contribute to program evaluation and continuous quality improvement
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant qualifications (Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar)
- Experience facilitating groups with children, young people and/or families
- Strong communication and networking skills, especially with CALD communities
- A collaborative approach and commitment to social justice principles
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a car
- SCHADS Level 5 salary with not-for-profit salary packaging benefits
