Join a leading farming team in the Ballarat region and play a key part in Australia’s agricultural sector.The Role We are seeking skilled operators for round, small square, and high-density large square balers. This role also offers the chance to work with a variety of modern machinery across hay and harvest operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain balers (round, small square, and large square).
- Carry out preventative maintenance and machinery repairs.
- Operate tractors and equipment including:
- Front and rear mounted mowers
- Self-propelled windrowers
- Hay rakes
- JCB telehandlers and front-end loaders
- Bale trailers
- Assist with chaser bin work during harvest.
- Proven experience operating balers and farm machinery.
- Strong knowledge of machinery servicing and repairs.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
- Competitive hourly rate $35 +
- On-farm accommodation provided
