In this role, you will perform in our production and slicing areas, which includes ensuring our production targets and compliance processes are met. With a core focus on the health & safety culture here at GoodmanFielder, this role will also require you to follow health and safety procedures whilst carrying out a variety of tasks in the production and slicing areas.Opportunities currently exist for:
  • Multiple Casual roles - availability required to work Monday to Friday both day and night shifts, work shifts available until 2026
You will be responsible for:
  • Operation of machinery and equipment as per safe operating proceduresExecutes start-up procedure and machine/equipment set ups, operational processes and cleaning processes correctly.
  • Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames.
  • Complete Quality Assurance and Food safety Induction and Competency quality assessment. Attend all relevant training programs.
  • Achieve AERR and Waste on target.
  • Active participationand attendance of weekly, monthly departmental meetings
To be successful in this role you will need to:
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Practiceand display Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety standards
  • Quality awareness
  • Previous food industry experience or machine operation/process work is desirable
