Yulong Stud are seeking stud hands to join our growing team in Nagambie for the upcoming breeding season. We are looking for both experienced horse people and enthusiastic young people who have a strong interest in the thoroughbred industry. You will be well-presented and have a friendly and outgoing personality with a desire to learn and grow your horse husbandry skills. In addition, you will have good communication skills and a hardworking, can-do attitude. Reporting to the Farm Manager, your duties would include but are not limited to:

Daily stud tasks such as feeding, checking horses, horse movements, and paddock/stable maintenance.
Administering medications and drenches, as required.
Assisting veterinarians, farriers, and dentists with procedures.
Cleaning and maintaining barns, equipment, and tools
Other general stud farm tasks as required.

Candidates will be offered a remuneration package in accordance with experience and have the opportunity to join a fun and supportive team. Shared accommodation will be available to the successful candidate if required. A valid right to work in Australia and access to a car are essential.
