Access theAbout the opportunityThe Director of Nursing/Facility Manager is accountable for leadership, innovation, and excellence in the provision of care and service delivery to the clients of the health service.In collaboration with the Medical Superintendent of Ayr Health Service and the Rural Hospitals Service Group the Director of Nursing/Facility Manager will provide service direction, coordination, strategic planning, and efficient and effective use of financial, human and material resources.About the serviceThe Home Hill Health Service is a 14-bed rural facility predominately providing aged care, rehabilitation and renal dialysis services to the local community. - Salary range: $5843.30 to $6259.70 p.f. (NG9)

- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
- Drivers Licence: Class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group network to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities. This may involve day and/or overnight stays. Travel on small planes or ferry may be required. The successful applicant/s will need to be able to commit to this requirement.
