We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marine Engineers to join our dynamic Weipa operations on a full time basis.Job DescriptionCurrently we have a job vacancy for experienced and enthusiastic:Full Time Tug Engineers to join our Weipa Fleet (AMRUN Operations)Smit Lamnalco is seeking expressions of interest from a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Engineer to join our growing fleet within the AMRUN Vessel(s) on a full time basis.Where appropriate, training will be provided as part of your job.QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity applicants will hold:
  • Minimum AMSA Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3 Certificate of Competency. In the case of a Class 3, the holder most also possess a relevant trade qualification (fitter & turner, electrical fitter, diesel fitter) or other equivalent engineering trade.
  • The successful applicant(s) must hold a current AMSA Certificate of Competency, AMSA Medical and MSIC.
  • Successful applicants will be required to satisfy a company pre-employment medical, client inductions and a drug & alcohol screening.
  • The position is FIFO in/out of Cairns or local/resident to Weipa.
