The Role & ProjectMACA is seeking an HSEQ Advisor to join the team at the Duketon Gold Project in the Goldfields of Western Australia. With an 8:6 roster, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and responsibility of the mining operations at Duketon.Joining forces with Regis Resources for over a decade, we have upheld the strong operation of this significant gold mine. As the HSEQ Advisor, you will provide essential HSE support and guidance to on-site teams, supervisors, and trainers. Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
Coordinate site based health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and wellbeing of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials.
Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with.
Facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments and safety training - producing high quality results.
Develop, Conduct Monthly Toolbox Talks
Conduct regular workplace inspections.
Provide data-driven health & safety performance reports.
