
Commercial Pricing Manager

- Overall, driving pricing and commercial decision-making for the Vodafone Postpaid portfolio; predominantly in relation to plan pricing, handset pricing and multi-service bundles
- Coming up with pricing recommendations for tactical offers, new device / product launches and any planned activities to stimulate growth (acquisition and retention)
- Presenting recommendations, commercial analysis and trading updates to key stakeholders (both within the direct team and other key parties including Finance)
- Prepare and present weekly performance reporting packs as required to forums that include immediate team members, Head Of and General Manager
- Conduct research and analysis to generate insights into competitor activity, performance of past offers and customer behaviours in order to help shape propositions that will stimulate growth for the business
- Monitoring profitability, both from a handset device margin and average plan value perspective, to allow effective recommendations to both maximise profitability and meet budgetary targets
- Develop an understanding of the product, including the extent of our capabilities and constraints, in order to better inform meaningful tactical and product recommendations
- Liaising with the Go To Market function, such that the commercial decisions made are able to be effectively executed
- Adhere to the policies and procedures in place and as amended from time to time.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant or similar field
- Analytical and attention to detail with a commercial focus
- Strong communication / presentation skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and a can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, with strong stakeholder impact and influence skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and Powerpoint. Includes strong level of competence in creating, managing and maintaining scenario modelling in Excel
- Ability to deconstruct complex analytical problems into an easy-to-digest format for key stakeholders in the decision-making process
- Degree qualified, ideally in business, economics, finance/accounting
