This role is responsible for overseeing core P&C functions including Shared Services coordination, employee lifecycle management, P&C systems administration, and compliance with employment requirements, legislation and internal policies.The role will provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent and accurate P&C practices. The role involves leading a small team, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of service excellence and operational integrity. The role will also contribute to strategic P&C initiatives and support organisational change through effective operational execution.What you will BRING

- Lead and support a team of People & Culture Officers to deliver high-quality, consistent P&C services.
- Oversee P&C operations across the entire employee lifecycle – including recruitment, onboarding, contract changes, employment cycle programs and offboarding.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for our systems (CHRIS21, mycareer/cornerstone), ensuring data integrity, efficient workflows, and user support.
- Collaborate with the P&C BP and leaders to improve processes, support change, and provide accurate reporting and insights.
- Some out-of-hours work.
- Intrastate travel to regional and remote locations / interstate travel may be required.
- A current driver’s licence is desirable.
- The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
- An intense time of activity within the SACE Board of South Australia occurs between October and December. For some roles, the incumbent would not normally be able to take planned leave during this period.
- Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy.
