- Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255.00 to $102,240.00 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
- Part Time (0.5 FTE) - Term Contract (temporary until 30 Jun 2026)
- Provide comprehensive one to one and group work services such as counselling, crisis intervention and advocacy for individuals aged 16 and over who have experienced sexual assault;
- Undertake a range of research and projects;
- Provide education and training programs;
- Provide referral information for individuals seeking to access counselling, support groups, legal assistance or other help or information in relation to sexual assault;
- Liaise closely with members of other agencies, stakeholders and statutory authorities in provision of sexual assault service;
- Contribute to the development of service goals and strategies through designated portfolio work
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide crisis and long term counselling and group work services.
- Demonstrated capacity to undertake risk assessments with people who have complex needs and partner with them to develop sound safety and therapy plans.
- Demonstrated experience working in crisis and trauma situations.
- Demonstrated experience in long and short term counselling, group work and community development.
- Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
