- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including forecasting, modelling, and variance analysis to support business unit performance.
- Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Evaluate the performance of banking products and services, identifying areas for improvement and new business opportunities.
- Assist in the development of business cases and financial models for new initiatives and strategic projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and risk management, to support business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ensure all analysis and reporting are accurate and comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a finance or banking analyst role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and banking products.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
