Are you ready to take control of your career? We're currently seeking a Technical Writer with SAP master data experience and an understanding of electrical plant and HV systems. This 12-month+ role will see you working on documentation projects, supporting master data activities in SAP, and ensuring technical records are accurate and compliant.Based in the Upper Hunter region of NSW, this role is predominantly office-based, with flexibility for up to two days working from home (Monday and Friday) once established.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation across electrical plant and HV systems.
- Support the creation, management, and quality assurance of SAP master data.
- Liaise with engineering, planning, and operations teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Contribute to data governance, compliance, and system improvements.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for systems and documentation practices.
- Long-term contract (12 months+).
- Competitive hourly rate - open to discussion based on skills and experience.
- Flexible working arrangements with up to two days from home.
- Exposure to electrical plant systems, HV operations, and SAP master data management.
- Proven experience in technical document writing within mining, resources, or heavy industry.
- Strong exposure to SAP master data management.
- Knowledge of electrical plant and HV systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
