About the DepartmentThe Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is the Australian Government's central agency for shaping and delivering health, disability, and aged care services.About the RolesThe purpose of these roles is to support the Implementation Branch of the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) Oversight Division in the Department of Health to establish the CDC as a stand alone entity in January 2026. Specifically the officers sought in this RFQ will be joining the Operations and Corporate Systems section developing the website and intranet content for the stand alone entity.Key Duties
content development, copy-editing and
development of technical documentation to support the new agency running the website and intranet ongoing (organisational strategies, polices and standard operating procedures including and not limited to governance framework and editorial functions).
Essential Attributes / Skills / Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to maintain effective stakeholder relationships
Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver work plans, and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to work independently to a defined schedule
Sound understanding of Australian Government communication standards, including accessibility guidelines
APS6 hourly rate contract, 6-months + possible extension
Located in Canberra or Adelaide
