I'm partnering with a leading ASX-listed manufacturing business that's driving industrial growth across Australia. With a national footprint, global reach, and a strong pipeline of expansion projects, they've scaled smart - backed by advanced automation, precision operations, and continuous investment in people and technology.With finance at the core of their strategy, payroll plays a key role in supporting their momentum. As they continue to grow, they're seeking an immediately available, solutions-focused Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team on a temp-to-perm basis.Working closely with the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will entail:

Running end-to-end payroll with precision across a large, weekly pay cycle covering redundancies, leave, terminations and all things compliance.
Applying your EBA & award interpretation skills to ensure every shift, allowance and RDO is spot-on.
Reconciliation & reporting - checking outputs against source data, resolving anomalies, and owning that final pay run.
Driving payroll improvements - you'll help streamline processes and find automation wins in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
Staying compliant - keeping records sharp and aligned with tax, super and legislative requirements.
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to answer payroll queries and build trust through great service.
Supporting EOFY activities, from tax table updates to reconciliations and reporting.

Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll for medium to large teams.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
Clear and confident communicator with employees and leadership.
Excellent time management, able to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.
Self-motivated yet thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
