Let us know your requirements, and we'll carefully consider how we might accommodate them.About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator to join our team at Alinta Energy, playing a key role in the development of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub, located north of Adelaide. This exciting project aims to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions through the implementation of a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).In this role, you will coordinate the implementation of HSE initiatives and supporting the HSE Advisor in delivering essential HSE services. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project, facilitating system audits, compliance checks, and performance monitoring activities to drive continuous improvement and promote a culture of Zero Harm.Why you'll love working hereWe're a welcoming bunch who put our energy into being the best company we can be.   • Support a culture of Zero Harm by ensuring compliance with all Alinta Energy HSE policies and procedures.
  • Assist the HSE Advisor in providing specialist HSE advice, interpretation, and counsel to line management.
  • Facilitate compliance checks, system audits, and performance monitoring activities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Help identify HSE training needs and assist in designing and delivering relevant training programs.
  • Contribute to maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective HSE outcomes.
Your experience
  • Proven experience in document control, administrative support, or project coordination roles within infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related field is desirable, along with experience in project administration for energy infrastructure projects.
