Company : Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdJob DescriptionAbout the RoleHastings Deering are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our award-winning team in Archerfield, Brisbane.This is a casual based role seeking up to 24 contact hours per week when required, so is perfect for someone studying, looking to gain experience or re-enter the workforce.As an Assistant you will:
  • Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
  • Unpack and sort samples
  • Assign label numbers appropriately
  • Register samples including data entry
  • Card scanning
  • Housekeeping and general equipment maintenance
  • Dispose of samples
  • Receive stock
  • Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools and property
