Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but is not limited to the below:
- Attract new business and build your own data base and pipeline via various proactive activities including, but not limited to: sales calls, cold calling, face to face presentation and meetings, telemarketing, digital marketing, networking events and retaining clients through relationship management.
- Self-generate leads and nurture inbound leads.
- Research the prospect and ensure the prospect is not already accounted for by another BDM via our CRM and importantly that the prospect meets the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Develop, execute and review a progressive business development plan to achieve sales targets.
- Sign up and regularly attend Local Tourism Groups and networking events.
- Actively participate in online forums and discussion groups
- Create advertising campaigns & sponsor local events.
- Establishing relationships with local businesses.
- Identify property developers, build strong relationships and work on referral programs.
- Identify property real estate agents, build strong relationships on trust and work on strong referral programs.
- 3-5 years BDM experience involving a strategic element to the product or service being sold.
- Cold calling experience, and developing and working a database.
- Some experience with contracts; with the ability to understand and interpret basic legal terminology.
- Familiar with Real Estate leasing terms and conditions
- Essential – Full Australian driver's licence and own car
